CONFLICT MANAGER
RETAINER SUPPORT
Immediate access is a strong offence.
Iβll take a scotch with a side of calm charisma. Whatβll you have?
Because weβre in it now. Letβs get comfy. I got you.
Hereβs how Retainer Support works:
1. You get access to me, your conflict manager, via a private Slack channel. Use me β reach out for anything and everything so you can experience the immediate value.
2. Based on my recommended course of action and conflict resolution strategy, a required time determination will be made for your ideal support plan.
3. You get access to my βtime trackerβ so you can see how many hours Iβve logged.

Conflict Management and Resolution
Whether itβs a dispute between business partners or your business's response to a client issue, people are more likely to judge a business by how it handles conflicts rather than how it operates when things are going smoothly.
Conflicts are an opportunity to enhance a business's brand, refine procedures to avoid repeat mistakes, and to solidify a client relationship.
My approach to each situation is tailored to your business's unique goals, brand voice, and the history of the client interaction.
This tailored support can include:
-
Having been a trial lawyer for over a decade, I know that involving an attorney automatically turns up the dial on the conflict. Itβs a relationship-limiter and almost always removes the possibility for future business with that client. Instead, I write your emails, behind the scenes, over your name, to achieve your desired outcome.
-
Itβs common to spend hours generating emails to navigate ongoing issues. Those emails might address failed invoice payments, negative responses, etc. Customized, strategic templates are a crucial element in supporting your ability to feel empowered and navigate conflict independently
-
A second set of eyes can never hurt. Onboarding documents, service agreements, and email reminders often aren't prepared from the βconflict reductionβ lens or from a place of promoting a good client relationship. I help you, the business owner, find innovative ways to help your clients feel supported and cared for at the outset so they're more likely to get the benefit of the doubt when things (inevitably) start to go sideways.
-
No one is happy following litigation. Ever!
Since applying my conflict resolution frameworks and principles for my business clients, I have an excellent success rate at helping my business avoid litigation and the added financial and emotional costs that go with it. In the event a client does choose to proceed with litigation (sometimes litigation is the best course of action for the situation), I am able to assist them with attorney selection, understanding the legal process, and providing emotional support as they navigate the system.
-
My experience has been that a cease and desist coming directly from an attorney has varying likelihood of success and is best used when the client has already decided that litigation is inevitable. Sometimes a well-worded communication coming directly from the client is not only effective in obtaining the desired result, but also is well received by a court as an attempt at resolution.
Learn to be a powerful advocate without burning bridges.

Conflict Prevention
This type of support is also variable depending on the situation. Effective communication is key for conflict prevention. This can include:
Drafting contract provisions in a manner that is specifically intended to induce a desired action
Preparation of SOPs to assist teams in proactively managing client expectations
Coaching leaders through difficult interactions and decisions that are likely to attract criticism
Online reputation monitoring (done in collaboration with a cyber security expert)
Mindset coaching specific to neutralizing conflict triggers
Acting as a second set of eyes/sounding board for managing difficult situations
Leadership and communication coaching (this is especially helpful for neuro-divergent individuals)
Team training
